One Step GPS Wins Three Stevie® Awards in the 2026 American Business Awards®
Jul 1, 2026•5m

One Step GPS has been named a winner of three Stevie® Awards in The 24th Annual American Business Awards®:
- Gold Stevie® Award — Customer Satisfaction
- Silver Stevie® Award — Customer Service Department of the Year
- Bronze Stevie® Award — Technology Department of the Year
The awards were presented at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on June 9, 2026.
These three categories sit close to the center of what we do every day: pick up the phone, keep the map accurate, and build tools fleets genuinely benefit from. The recognition is welcome. But the people who earned it are the dispatchers, owners, and fleet managers who tell us — in their own words, on calls and in reviews — what's working and what isn't.
These awards belong to our customers and to the team that picks up the phone when they call. We're proud of the recognition, but what earned it is the ordinary, everyday work of being reliable and being reachable — and that's exactly what we intend to keep doing." — Adam Ben Jacob, COO, One Step GPS
What the Stevie Awards recognize
The American Business Awards are the premier business awards program in the United States. Every kind of organization is eligible: public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The awards are nicknamed the Stevies, from the Greek word for "crowned."
This year the program drew more than 3,700 nominations across categories ranging from Startup of the Year to App of the Year, and more than 230 professionals worldwide took part in the judging. "Organizations across the United States continue to set a high standard for innovation and performance," said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller, who pointed to a competitive environment where companies are finding new ways to deliver value and make an impact.
For One Step GPS, being recognized in customer satisfaction, customer service, and technology is meaningful — because those are the things customers judge a fleet platform on first.
Why customers put us here
We didn't earn these awards just by adding features. We earned them by getting the unglamorous things right, consistently.Support that behaves like part of the product
In fleet software, support isn't a department off to the side — it's the foundation of whether the tool works for you on a bad day. Customers remember responsiveness and the phrase that comes up again and again is some version of "they answer immediately."
Our support team is 100% U.S.-based and in-house — not outsourced or contractor-staffed — and the numbers we track reflect what customers describe: roughly 99% customer satisfaction, about 99% first-call resolution, and an average time to resolution of 4.34 minutes. Fast, human help keeps issues from turning into downtime and that reliability is a large part of why fleets stay.
In an industry notorious for poor support experiences for it's customers, this is one of the things that sets One Step GPS apart.
★★★★★
One of the most important things to us with the switch was the customer service. The onboarding process was smooth; it was easy. We got white glove treatment — they literally held our hands every step of the way with polite, professional, outstanding people."Ed KeeleyDirector of Business Intelligence and Analytics
Reliability you stop thinking about
When customers describe what they value most, it's not only the depth of features. It's the absence of doubt. A live map that's genuinely reliable turns guesswork and interruptions into certainty at a glance, so a dispatcher can answer "where's the truck?" without making a call.
The platform is built for that kind of dependability, with typical location accuracy of ~6 feet, refresh rates as fast as 1-30 seconds, and 99.99% platform uptime.
Software people can use without a training course
Ease of use is a must-have in this category. Systems that require formal training create resistance, and resistance turns into frustration. Our interface is designed to be learned fast and used daily across web and mobile — and setup is part of that story.
Device installation normally takes under one minute, and a first-time user can be up and running on the system day one.
Terms that respect your time and your budget
A lot of what customers call "satisfaction" comes down to trust around money and commitment. One Step GPS publishes its pricing in plain language, runs on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts, and backs hardware a lifetime warranty. A 100-day money-back guarantee provides the most extensive risk-free trial period in the industry. That means you're making a reversible decision instead of a leap of faith.
★★★★★
Customer service is A+. One Step GPS app is so user friendly, easy to navigate, run reports, set up users and manage groups, devices, and settings. One Step GPS has maintained the same level of pricing throughout our contract over the past 3 years. We've expanded our program from 100 devices to 420+ devices based on the previous years of successful monitoring and management of assets."Okaloosa County Fleet Department
Technology that earns its keep
The Technology Department recognition reflects work most customers never see directly but rely on constantly. The platform is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, with encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, and redundant North American infrastructure.
A free, documented open API and more than 81 prebuilt integrations let fleets connect tracking to the tools they already run — from maintenance and fuel cards to dispatching and insurance. Good fleet technology isn't measured by how much it can do in a demo; it's measured by how consistently it does the right things at scale.
One pattern is worth naming. Fleets that switch providers without addressing the underlying problem — slow support, unreliable data, pricing friction, rigid contracts — often meet the same frustrations again somewhere else. These awards are, in a sense, recognition for taking those specific problems seriously rather than contracting over them.
A thank-you to the fleets we serve
More than 20,000 fleets use One Step GPS today, everyone from small operators running a handful of vehicles to Fortune 100 companies. The mix is wide, but the feedback rhymes: develop features that move the needle, keep them easy to use and reliable, and be there when something goes wrong.
So, this is a thank you. Every one of these awards traces back to a customer who called in, sent a note, left a review, or simply kept renewing because the tool kept working. We'd rather earn that one interaction at a time than win anything on a stage. The recognition is a nice marker — but the daily standard doesn't change because there's a trophy now.
To the teams who trust us with their fleets: thank you. We're going to keep showing up the same way tomorrow.
Where to go from here
Most fleets reading this can't change providers today — many are mid-contract — and that's fine. There's something useful here wherever you are:- Mid-contract, can't act yet: keep this for later. When you're closer to your renewal date, a migration planning checklist makes the eventual switch a non-event rather than a scramble.
- Approaching renewal (roughly 6–12 months out): this is the right window to evaluate fit on your own timeline. A feature-fit walkthrough lets you compare what you have now against what you'd actually use.
- Actively evaluating: see how One Step GPS works. No contracts, transparent pricing, and a 100-day money-back guarantee mean you can test it on your own terms.
