Using the One Step GPS logos

The One Step GPS logos carry the registered trademark symbol. These rules keep that symbol legible and the mark protected wherever the logo appears: in our own marketing, and in materials made by agencies, partners, resellers, and press.

Logo size and clear space specification
The wordmark, drawn to spec. The same clear space rule applies to the logomark.

The logos

There are two logos, each in a version for light and dark backgrounds. These four are the preferred files. Use them exactly as supplied, and choose the version by background, not by preference.

One Step GPS wordmark, dark on light

Wordmark, dark on light

The default. Use on white and light backgrounds.

One Step GPS wordmark, light on dark

Wordmark, light on dark

Use on navy, black, and other dark backgrounds.

One Step GPS logomark, dark on light

Logomark, dark on light

For square or compact placements where the full name already appears nearby.

One Step GPS logomark, light on dark

Logomark, light on dark

The logomark for dark backgrounds.

Small-use wordmark

These two files carry a larger ® so the symbol still reads at small sizes. Use them only where the preferred wordmark can’t meet its minimum width, such as email signatures, compact headers, and small print. The preferred files above are the default everywhere else.

One Step GPS small-use wordmark, dark on light

Small-use wordmark, dark on light

Minimum 120 px wide.

One Step GPS small-use wordmark, light on dark

Small-use wordmark, light on dark

Minimum 120 px wide.

There is no small-use logomark. Below its minimum, use a small-use wordmark instead.

Minimum size and clear space

The ® is the smallest detail in each logo, so it sets the minimum size. Below these widths the symbol can no longer be read. Each file is named for its own minimum, measured across the full width of the artwork.

Keep clear space of at least one quarter of the logo’s height on all four sides. Nothing else, including text, other logos, and the edge of the page or screen, may enter that space.

If a placement can’t fit the minimum size, don’t shrink the registered logo to make it work. Contact legal@onestepgps.com for an approved alternative.

Rules for the ® symbol

The ® is a legal notice that the mark is registered. It is part of the artwork, not decoration.

Never remove it
Don’t crop, mask, or cover the ®, and don’t place other elements over it.
Never rebuild it
Don’t retype the ® in a font or redraw it. If the material needs ™ instead (see the legal notice below), use the supplied ™ version of the logo.
Never move or resize it
The ® sits at the upper right of the logo, the standard position for notice. Keep it there, and scale the logo as a single unit.
Keep it legible
Respect the minimum sizes above, and check print, embroidery, engraving, and video at final output, where fine detail is often lost.
Don’t add a second one
Don’t add another ®, ™, or “Registered” text next to a logo that already carries the symbol.

Color and backgrounds

The logos use three colors. Don’t recolor any part of a logo, including the ®, and don’t convert it to a single color without approval.

  • Navy#002E6D
  • Blue#1BA6FF
  • White#FFFFFF

Place the logo on a solid or low-detail background with strong contrast. On photography, use an even, uncluttered area. If every letter and the ® can’t be read clearly, choose a different background or version.

What not to do

Don’t stretch, squash, or distort it.

Don’t change its colors.

Don’t rotate or tilt it.

Don’t remove, crop, or cover the ®.

Don’t retype the symbol or swap in your own ™.

Don’t add shadows, outlines, glows, or other effects.

Don’t use a version that loses contrast, such as the light logo on blue.

Don’t place it on busy patterns or photos.

These rules apply to headings, titles, body copy, captions, and social posts.

Legal notice and permission

One Step GPS LLC owns U.S. trademark registrations for both logos. The ® in each file is notice of that registration.

MarkRegistrationStatus
Wordmark (“OneStepGPS” words and design)U.S. Reg. No. 7,258,518Registered January 2, 2024
Logomark (“O” design)U.S. Reg. No. 8,413,861Registered August 25, 2026

Both cover the same goods and services: GPS tracking devices (Class 9), and fleet management services in the nature of tracking of fleet vehicles for commercial purposes (Class 35).

Use the ® logos only when the material relates to those goods and services. For anything else, use ™ to show that we claim trademark rights. Request the ™ logo versions from legal@onestepgps.com rather than editing the files yourself.

The ® signals U.S. registration. Before using the registered logo in materials aimed at another country, check with legal@onestepgps.com that the mark is registered there. Some countries penalize false claims of registration.

Use by partners, resellers, and press

Using these logos does not grant any license to the One Step GPS trademarks. Use them only to refer to One Step GPS or its products, and only as supplied on this page. Don’t use them in a way that suggests One Step GPS sponsors or endorses you, and don’t combine them with your own name, logo, or product name. Don’t use “One Step GPS” or anything similar in your own company name, product name, domain, or social media handle. One Step GPS may withdraw permission to use its marks at any time.
